Striving for full CG.
As a constant drive towards everything in our images being 100% CGI, bedding and soft fabrics are becoming more and more viable as the technology improves. Here are some towel and bedding cloth sim tests using marvelous designer, where we are trying to achieve a realistic looking base with all the necessary details before we apply textures. Note how important it is for bedding to have a real world styling, rather than the usual "overly messy CG style".
