Real-Time 3D Artist

Overview

We are looking for a mid-level Realtime 3D Artist who has a great knowledge with realtime rendering technologies such as WebGL, Unreal and Unity. You will be working alongside our interactive projects team creating 3D assets and environments.

We work on a broad range of tools and products where 3D technology converges with web applications. You will get to work with the latest VR, AR, web tools as well as building next generation product configurators.

You’ll be working in an environment where visual quality is key. Closely working with our producers, software developers, graphic designers, and CG team you’ll help us create, modify and maintain projects across a range of scope and budgets. You will be working with our clients to conceptualise and build high quality assets and visuals for our interactive portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Asset creation in 3DS Max, Blender, Reality Capture, Substance suite, Photoshop, Marvellous designer.
  • Effectively liaise and collaborate with software engineers and designers.
  • Excellent modelling, UV unwrapping and texturing skills.
  • Environment production in one of the following Unreal Engine / Unity / WebGL.
  • Design workflows for creating assets to each projects requirements / specification.
  • Ability to research, develop, and implement a suitable pipeline for each project's own requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to junior artists.
  • Up to date knowledge of current art techniques and development processes.

Essentials

  • A professional portfolio of examples.
  • Proficient experience with 3D modelling tools such as Max or Blender.
  • Experience using UE4.
  • Fully up to date on current industry standard workflows, tools, modelling and texturing methodologies.
  • Experience creating hard surface assets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desireable

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python/C#/C++/HLSL.
  • Knowledge of Substance Painter & Designer.
  • Knowledge of photogrammetry production.
  • Knowledge of marvellous designer or another cloth simulation package.
