Founded almost three decades ago, the Communicator Awards is the leading global awards program, recognising creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals. This year's competition received around 3,000 entries from top agencies and firms from around the world, so we're thrilled to be recognised with both our entries winning the top "Excellence" awards.

We entered two of our ingenious interactive configurators this year, the Wyrmwood Modular Desk Configurator in the 'Groundbreaking Achievement' category for immersive & experiential features. And one of our recent Onfigr configurators, the Starplan Wardrobe Configurator, for the 'Use of Emerging Technologies'.

Wyrmwood Modular Desk Configurator.

The Wyrmwood Modular Desk Configurator is a WebGL interactive tool which allows users to design and personalise their own unique desk. The online 3D configurator provides a huge range of customisable configurations and wood options, giving them complete control over the appearance and functionality of their desk. Instant online pricing alongside accurate 3D visuals lets users view their creation from any angle before making a final purchase.

Our developers really pushed the boundaries of what is possible here, with custom logic, bespoke wood textures and integrated online pricing making this a truly groundbreaking achievement.

Starplan Wardrobe Configurator.

Our Starplan Wardrobe Configurator is part of our new Onfigr platform, which has been designed for customers who want a configurator with key features that match some of our other standard configurators. It offers a wide range of colours, finishes and interior options for users to choose from, allowing them to create a wardrobe that perfectly fits their needs and style. And as always, we used the latest WebGL technology to ensure the tool works on all modern browsers and devices and integrates seamlessly into the clients website without the need for plugins or apps.

The key innovation which helped us to win the Use of Emerging Technologies award is the integration with our Onfigr platform. This enhances the functionality through an online content management system, giving additional insights for our clients to help with their sales and marketing strategies.
